Barcode 32 bit Standard Edition, and Barcode 32 bit Professional Edition, enable you to create fully resizeable barcode images for most common barcode types:
with Standard versions:
1. Create the image in Barcode and copy it to the clipboard ready for pasting into other applications, print a proof copy, or save it as a WMF, PCX, BMP or EPS file for loading into other applications.
with Pro versions:
1. as with Standard version above, or
2. Choose Insert Object within your OLE application (eg. Word for Windows, Excel, Access, CorelDraw, etc.) and choose Barcode object from the list of objects. Barcode Pro supports In-Place editing, or
3. Create the image using Visual Basic's CreateObject command and set all the barcode parameters with simple Basic commands.
Barcode 32 Pro is a 32 bit version of Barcode Pro, suitable for use with Windows 2000 and NT only - not Windows 3.1.
Supports EAN 8, EAN13, JAN, ISBN, ISSN, UPCA and UPCE (all with 2 and 5 digit supplementaries), EAN 128, Code 39, extended (full ASCII) Code 39, Code 93, Code 11, Code 128, Code B, ITF-14, ITF-6, 2 of 5, Interleaved 2 of 5, 3 of 9, PostNet, FIM, Royal Mail 4 State, Telepen (numeric and ASCII) and MSI (Modified Plessey). Optional SISAC library available.
Checkdigits may be calculated automatically and shown or hidden (for codetypes which permit this).
Barcodes may be rotated left or right or inverted. (TrueType or compatible fonts required for text rotation).
Margin indicators and bearer bars may be turned on/off for codes which support these items. Bar width control for wet-ink printing allows 0 - 50% width reduction.
Font properties, bar colour and background colour may be user selected.
Nominal size option for codes which specify a nominal (100%) size.
ISBN codes may also be generated from ISBN numbers.
Stand-alone programs can copy barcode image to clipboard or save image as metafile (.WMF).
Pro version is also an OLE server. OLE-2 Embedded Server, In-Place Server and Automation facilities require an OLE-2 compatible client application (such as Word for Windows 6) or Visual Basic 3.0 or later.
